On 23 November  The exhibition “From Martiros Saryan to Vladimir Martirosov” opened in the State Central Theater Museum named after A. Bakhrushin in Moscow, which is part of the program of the Second Biennale of Theatrical Art. The purpose of the exhibition is to acquaint a wide audience with Armenian theatrical and decorative art. We are talking about performances staged both in Armenian theaters and in Russian theaters.

The focus of curators Marina Bagdasaryan and Dmitry Rodionov - prominent representatives of Armenian art: Vazgen Sureniants, Georgy Yakulov, Martiros Saryan, Mikhail Arutyan, Sarkis Arutyan, Stepan Taryan, Minas Avetisyan and others. Particular emphasis is placed on the works of contemporaries - Marina Azizyan, Stepan Zohrabyan, Vladimir Martirosov. The exhibition includes sketches of scenery and costumes, performance layouts, posters and programs of performances, including posters and programs of the Decade of Armenian Art in 1939 and the Decade of Armenian Art in 1956, as well as photographs.

The exhibition will run until January 6, 2019 and will be accompanied by a cultural and educational program.
