EXHIBITION OF GUROS'S WORKS IN "ZVARTNOTS" RESERVE MUSEUM

On 25 December, the exhibition of paintings and photographs by the Honored Artist of the Armenian SSR, self-educated painter Gourgen Paronyan- Guros will be opened in Zvartnots Historical and Cultural Reserve-Museum.

Guros was born in Goris city if Armenia, in the family of Melik Ohanyan. From the age of 22, he has been taking photos of the beautiful landscapes of his native nature, the most interesting sights, the life of the residents of Goris, and the villages. Guros's emotions are also expressed in painting. Infinite love and dedication to his birthplace is obvious in his works. Twenty-five paintings dedicated to historical monuments and a significant part of the original glasses works (1988) are kept in the "Historical Cultural Reserve-Museum and Historical Environment Protection Service". For the first time, the exhibition will feature high quality duplicates on historical monuments and twenty-five paintings.
