ARMENIAN CULTURE WEEK IN KIEV

The Armenian Culture Week will be held in the Ukrainian capital Kiev on 19-25 January. The culture week is dedicated to Armenian composer Komitas’s 150^th, famous filmmaker Sergei Parajanov’s 95^th and writer Silva Kaputikyan’s 100^th anniversary. A number of events on the sidelines of the Week.The program of events includes different concerts, literature and music evenings, exhibitions, master classes, as well as film-watching dedicated to the prominent figures of the Armenian culture.

According to the organizers, the works of prominent Armenian figures are presented in the Peoples Friendship and Asher Schwarzmann Library, as well as at the Cinema House.

The event organizers are AOKS-Ukraine Armenian Union of Cultural Relations, Parajanov-ART, The Department of Culture, Tourism and Cultural Heritage Preservation of the Podolsk region state administration etc.
